The IRA dimension

In 1982,I reported two Dublin IRA training officers to Mick Mc Manus and Liam Mc Girl for "promoting" Marxist literature.

Both Derek 'John' Doyle and Thomas Byrne were forced to leave Ireland but maintained their connections to the Dublin IRA. They had been found guilty of treachery to the IRA because both of them have information to the Gardai about me. The IRA never enforced "Walter Mitty" Sean Mc Bride's views on any type of literature because every underground organisation hoists a poltroon up onto its standard to suffer on their behalf, something Sean Mc Bride only rarely had to do because like all ringleaders, he gave information to Gardai. Nobody took him seriously. Everyone realised that he lived in the reflection of his own image.
